You can start anytime, the foundation course in interior design is Residential Interior Design 1, this is available online and in studio. Our in studio classes restart monthly, online learning allows for even more flexibility which eans you can even start mid month.
Yes. Our online Interior Design Online offers the same high quality education you would receive on our in studio courses, delivered by interactive video tutorials and quality online resources.
No you don’t, you can take one course first, after this you will need to make your intent known (30 days after the starting date). You can then pay for the rest of the Diploma bundle package or you can pay a deposit of 1000 AED redeemable against your last Professional course and pay one course at a time.
You have 3 years from your start date to complete the diploma?
No, you can stop and start as you with, one month you may take one course but then want a break for a few months, then you can come back and start up again. If you are taking the Diploma, just be sure to finish your learning in 3 years from your start date.
Yes of course, we generally do not recommend more than 2 courses at a time as they are quite intensive.
You will need to have conversational English to be able to take this course. Our tutors are bilingual and will be able to help you wherever possible in the lesson. You will also have detailed lesson notes and videos to watch after the class so you are able to go back over information.
We offer a Level 2 Diploma in Creative Techniques- Interiors with qualification number 7157-13. The City and Guilds are the world leader in skills development and are recognised as the benchmark for high quality training that meet the needs of today’s workplace. This Diploma is accepted internationally and can be attested in the United Kingdom.
The Designers Studio courses are vocational – they focus on preparing students to work in the industry by exposing them to practical real world projects and technology. University courses take a more theoretical and conceptual approach to design education.
This is a crucial consideration and one we ask students to consider from day one of their studies. Our tutorsare on hand to help you determine your unique career path. Whether it be commercial, residential or hospitality design, styling or your own business we are determined to help you to reach your potential.
You will have to pay in full to reserve your seat on a course, there is no preferential treatment for Diploma students compared to students who are taking a singular course. It is based on a first come first serve basis.
All Diploma and advanced course students will need a laptop computer that can be brought to class and used at home. We recommend students use a PC as this computer is compatible with all software used on the course.
No, exams are not part of our design courses. Most assessments are practically based and presented in class. There is also a small component of a written open book test.
We believe everybody can draw. Our patient Educators are passionate about learning. They will teach you the correct techniques to express your ideas through drawing.
We like to keep our class sizes small so that you get lots of individual attention. There is a maximum of 12 people in each class (8 for computer classes).
For beginners courses we recommend spending between 30mins to an hour on homework daily. For advanced students this will increase to 1-2 hours.
